This is a gripping and suspenseful novel of sci-fi horror I've read as of now. Many Dean Koontz fans consider this to be one of his best works and I have to agree. But he is also pursued, by the NSA, a mob hitman and another lab experiment known as the Outsider that is hell bent on killing the dog. The golden retriever is anything but ordinary as he is extremely intelligent, as a result of a lab experiment conducted by a science facility that he escaped from. But one day Travis come across a golden retriever and soon his life is changed forever. Set in California we follow two different individuals, Travis Cornell and Nora Devon, who also different lives. Beginning with the first book of his Frankenstein (Of which I still need to get the other books when I get the chance) and now "Watchers".

Bear in mind I don't have a lot of material by Dean Koontz at the moment, but I've started taking in a keen interest in his work.
